Rally teams have a final opportunity to join the inaugural Great Alpine Rally (March 28 - 29), based out of Falls Creek, Victoria, taking competitors through the heart of Victoria’s High Country.
Over two action-packed days, competitors will tackle 24 stages covering 310 competitive kilometres, navigating one of the state’s most challenging and scenic roads - Bogong High Plains Road.
The Great Alpine Rally will give crews a unique opportunity to test their skills on roads that have never before hosted motorsport, while showcasing the breathtaking beauty of Victoria’s alpine region. Such an event is only possible through the cooperation of local communities and the dedication of competitors and officials, whose support allows ATR to safely bring the rally to life.
Motorsport has faced some of its toughest challenges in recent years, and ATR is no exception. Rising costs and limited opportunities to run events safely on public roads have put enormous pressure on the organisation. “ATR is working harder than ever to keep rallies alive, but we can’t do it alone,” said Wilson.
“Every entry application directly helps us continue delivering the Great Alpine Rally and other events across Victoria and hopefully, Australia. Without your support, the future of these rallies and ATR itself is at real risk.”
With entries closing this Friday, we’re urging all teams to act now and secure their place in Australian motorsport history.
