The Lake Mountain Sprint will have teams taking on the climbing forest road from the base of Marysville all the way to the Lake Mountain summit on day one, then onto the Cumberland Junction on day two.


The Lake Mountain Sprint will be centred at the summit of the mountain, with Rally HQ and service park with documentation and scrutineering at the Marysville Community Club. The official dinner will be held on the Saturday night in Marysville, with a presentation function to be held shortly after the last run on Sunday, the post-race celebrations continuing well into the night after the presentation!



Discounted Competition entry for drivers in their first Australian Tarmac Rally Championship event. Rookie eligibility is based on the driver of the vehicle only, a navigator with previous ATRC experience is permitted.

Changing seats with registered co-driver is permitted provided both driver and co-driver meet driver rookie eligibility requirements. 


Additionally, all requirements for Competition noted above apply to rookie entrants.

Run under AASA Tarmac Rally regulations, competitors are released at 30-second intervals. Cars must have a minimum of an AASA approved FULL Safety Cage and crews are to wear apparel as per AASA Tarmac Rally Specifications. An approved (FIA, SFI or similar) head and neck restraint is mandatory for both occupants of competition vehicles. Vehicles shall be the subject of a current AASA Passport.


All drivers must hold a current Civil and AASA National Rally Licence as a minimum and satisfy the organisers they have appropriate motor sport driving experience and competence to participate in the event.


All vehicles shall be registered for use on public roads. 4.1.6 State Authorities, Concessional or Conditional Registration or Temporary Road/Vehicle Permits will be allowed in accordance with AASA regulations.

Super Sport
$2350 inc GST


This category suits road going cars with minimal changes to the vehicle.


It is a speed limited competition and competitors are released at 30-second intervals. Vehicles shall be registered for use on public roads. Vehicle permits as per the competition category will be allowed in accordance with AASA regulations.


Cars are to have a minimum of an AASA approved Half Safety Cage, with a minimum of (2) occupants. Seatbelts and Helmets must be worn. Crews are to wear apparel as per AASA Tarmac Rally Specifications. All drivers must hold a current Civil and AASA National Rally Licence as a minimum and satisfy the organisers they have appropriate motor sport driving experience and competence to participate in the event.


Crews may not exceed 130km/h.

Super Sport - PLUS

Target Time
$1950 inc GST


Target time or Regularity is one of the most popular form of rallying world-wide. The format is based on achieving a set average speed on each stage while adhering to a 130km/h speed limit. Target time competition provides the opportunity to compete in a rally that requires more than just going as fast as you can. Penalty time is accrued for missing the target time and the nature of this competition provides a mathematical challenge for both Driver and Co-Driver, keeping the cockpit drama intense right to the finish line.


All vehicles shall be registered for use on public roads.

Vehicle permits as per the competition category will be allowed in accordance with AASA regulations.


There is a maximum of two (2) occupants in the vehicle, and the driver must hold a current Civil and AASA licence and not exceed 130km/h on any stage. Clothing should be neck to wrist to ankle with leather shoes.

Touring Super Sprint
$850 inc GST


WD Motorsport, in partnership with Mountain Motorsports and the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship offer motorsport enthusiasts the ATRC Touring Super Sprint.


Enjoy the freedom of closed-road touring and the unique opportunity to take part in the Australian Tarmac Rally Championship. Participants run behind ATRC competitors following a tour leader who sets a swift and enjoyable pace on the closed road of the event. This is the best driving experience.


All vehicles shall be registered for use on public roads. Vehicle permits as per the competition category will be allowed in accordance with AASA regulations.


There is a maximum of two (2) occupants and drivers are to hold a current Civil and AASA Club Racing licence and may not exceed 130km/h on any stage of the event.
